Today's 130-65 test on an open clear road was fantastic! Again it was quite painful with the seat belts locking in hard, and if I had dentures, I would be picking them out of the defroster vents.

Still half the pedal travel to engage the brakes and notice and that leaves one with only 1/4 pedal to modulate; however, as you modulate the pedal does rise and becomes stronger. Before anyone says the MC is worn, a single pedal stroke will take the car to lock up and hold.

Next series of tests will be after the rain comes and they will be the slow low speed one to gauge wet lock up issues, and if they come in earlier in the pedal stroke.

RAIN UPDATE !!! With the animals pairing up and leaving today.

The brakes are completely predictable and they stop hard and fast like in the dry and have roughly the same pedal position for controlled front lock up. As much as I want ABS/TCS in the rears first, the fronts are more of a must now.

Next update in 6 months to a year from now as the cash pool has to fill up for this adventure.

--------------------------------------------

Today getting BMW parts for my DD, I priced the parts.

$3000 for ABS module
$500 for sensors
Need prices for yawl and accel-o-meter (sp) and maybe CPU, but his is all new.

Off the salvage yard for parts maybe, or not.
