Wow that Black 85 was on my desktop as wallpaper for almost a year. My coworkers joked that if my car was that nice I would be fired for appearing to make too much $$. That was the car Vader would drive!.
You built some nice examples, and Hope you find your next passion however your 928s are so smooth I think you will be back. In any case, thanks for the inspiration.

Thank you folks. I won't lie, my thoughts have been defaulting to a 928, but I am not acting on anything for the time being. I guess it's like a breaking up with a woman and wanting to go out and find another one just like her....best thing to do is give it time. It's going to be difficult to top the GTS I had...you just don't know how nice and great performing it really was if you didn't see it or own it. I thought about building that cabrio before I gave it away...I'm sure he would let me have it back if I asked since it will be a very long time before he ever gets to doing something with it. I even made a render of what I was thinking of doing as a base line...

Really, I am in love with the Astin Martin DB9's at this point, but a Ferrari 360 or 430, or P-car 997 might be some good ones too. Gonna be a while before I do anything.

As I had said, I will pop in from time to time, so I won't be gone forever, nor will I lose my love for 928's.

Keith,

I hate to see you go, but I can understand the need to explore the rest of the car world. We'll miss you here in the 928 cosmos.

Your white GTS helped convince me that white was a good color choice. Your selection of wheels on that car remain unique in the choices I've seen... And they were perfect!

Have fun with your next 4-wheel love interest!

Keith, I was browsing through your for sale add pictures. You did such a great job on the GTS. Stunning automobile.

Good luck on your new path.

Not JUST a station wagon

Actually, not the reason...and I know you know that I know that you know that

I really appreciate the kind thoughts and that is what will keep me popping back to RL.

Thanks guys!

Keith, I know what you mean about the DB9. To me it is a kind of spiritual successor to the 928. Maybe someday...

Farewell Keith, we definitely had some good times in/around sharks and shark events. I'll never forget that trip to Peterson! I'm sure that whatever you do next, you will do well.

I remember seeing your S4 at Sharks at the Lake . Spectacular. I might be in the same boat pretty soon, a guy drove up from L.A. to look at our S4 . He left a deposit and said he will be back next week to pick up the car. Not sure how I will feel when that happens.
