? wheel crest replacement
I bought a set of carrera lightweight wheels for my 928. I am going to have them powdercoated and want to replace the plastic concave center caps or at least replace the crest, as the crests are faded.
It appears the crest will pop out and new ones could be glued in place.
Are new replacement crests available? I did a search on rennlist and ebay and could not find any info.
Are metal concave center caps available, or are they only made in plastic?
Any good leads as to who to buy from. It's hard to tell the quality of the center caps on ebay and I would appreciate advice from someone who has done this and is satisfied with what they bought.

sometimes you can buy a new set of metal caps for about 80.00
