Default Wide-body kit car stereo

First off...

Who loves it?

One of the pics shows a weird stereo equalizer control on a stalk. My 2nd car, also a Euro '80, has that. Any chance it's stock? Or just a coincidence.

Well, there are something I like about the front, but I just can't love the way the flares terminate in the rear.

Hi there everybody

Well, all I can say is poor black car! :-(

Regarding the sound system, some of the old Blaupunkt decks form the late 80s were quite good and had excellent radios. I especially like the Euro versions of the Blaupunkt decks with quite good shortwave radios in them as well. Somewhere in the early 90s it seems Blaupunkt went to crap.

I will modify a Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 to accept an iPod and put it in my GT as soon as I am far enough along. With Hans' speaker updates as well. :-) In fact, I found a guy in Germany who is now custom making all the "wearing rubber parts" on these old decks and bought all of Blaupunkt's used parts for them.

I was curious about this car the other day and called to ask a few questions. The owner doesn't know much about it (other than loving the body kit), but has owned it for quite a while. Maintenance work was done at http://rennwerkeporschetechnicians.com/About_Us.html and it does sound like it may be a Euro S engine.
