I enjoyed meeting Ray and chatting with him a while at the Carolinas Region DE event at VIR last November. He has some very interesting customers with very interesting cars as well as a great reputation.

Keep up the great work Ray,

You need the young guy forum, this is the old guy forum.
I remember in some of the classes at the college, the owner or rep of a company will get permision to hand out cards and give a quick pitch at the beginning of the class. That may be your best bet.
Stop off at the local college and ask if anyone would like to work at a Porsche shop.

I would post that but it may not be allowed on RL. Besides, I can't keep up as it is. I don't have time to work on my own cars or get out on the water.

Brad

You must be confusing this thread with the O/C forum...

On topic- I see great things coming from some additional crossover from hotrodding/american muscle perspectives and euro/classic 'enhancement' community.

The car's not here yet but his driver is delivering it to me later in the week. I'll ask if he minds a few pics. If he does, I'll ask Frank to come by & verify. He asked me if I wanted to come pick it up but I'd rather not have the responsibility!!!

Interesting customers AND their interesting cars. No names of people but some of the cars are: '89 928 SE with 351 original miles. '90 951 Turbo S with 1,470 miles, sunroof delete and side skirts. 924 Martini Edition with less than 200 miles. 924 Sebring Edition with less than 200 miles. '93 968 Club Sport w/less than 2,000 miles.

Notice a trend here? All front engine P-cars. Trouble is, they don't get driven much so I don't get to do much on them.

Why would anyone have any work done on a 200 mile or 351 mile car? They aren't driving it or did they disconnect the odometer?

I'm wondering the same thing ... maybe to rotate the tyres?

I just couldn't own a car and not drive it ... I like looking at them but enjoy driving them even more.
