On the back of the rear seat so the heavy wires are close to the bat and all the wires go under the rug

Well on a us car it is under the passenger side seat well, got no idea where it is on yours.

That's the right spot..(but your pic is the coolant flaps controller I believe), and the multi pin connector for the Bosch Hammer (the round black thing)

That is the ECU for the radiator fans. However, the factory stereo amp would be located on the other side of the round diagnostic port for the Bosch Hammer.

The last two I have had apart only had that in that location, strange.
Sorry about sending you the wrong thing man, guess I should have looked the number up.

Ok so I guess I should leave that connected

I didn't think an amp would fit in that small spot, and it would get hot.

It dose not matter to me I was just wondering.

Looks like my "mystery phone bidder" outted himself

I'm not surprised that most 928s don't have the factory amp anymore. It's the single biggest impediment to doing anything with the stock stereo.
