Very nice. Is using KFC as an assembly lube a secret trick of Porsche engine builders?

ITBs made by Pierburg for the BMW E39 M5. Had to make custom plates to mate them with the heads and also a custom linkage...

Very nice.

There's a boat load of work to get from there to a running engine, but you are certainly part of the way there.

Looking very good, second time today I've seen a picture of it and well worth looking at. I'm still no nearer to know who the previous owner was? Paul didn't answer me?

Simon Watson owned the GTS from the Jeremy Clarkson video. I bought the engine of it after the fire. Then the engine went kaboom in racing and I set to getting proper power out of it - pistons, cams, ITBs etc...

It would be a neat social experiment to see which looks more impressive: that engine or all the strippers you could have purchased with money spent. Tough call!

Looks great! Can't wait to see the final product!

Mwahahaha!

You are so right... Let me see, lap dances are £20 (around $30) a pop around London.... I could have the equivalent of Swan Lake and the Nutcracker combined I think....
