Default 86.5 Blue FS

Posting this for a friend (I have no $interest in this sale) - my former 86.5 is for sale (iris blue metallic (light blue) over navy interior). Sold it 3 years years ago to a friend/co-worker. His son is heading off to college now, and he is looking to sell the car and cut back on expenses.
The car is an 86.5. It has no deferred maintenance. When I owned it, I did the full top end refresh, fuel lines, water bridge, water pump/TB, etc. I powder coated the intakes, etc. I had the front area and doors repainted to clean up chips, scratches, etc, with a high quality job. I also re-did the whole front suspension, including upper A-arms, shocks and springs. I also re-did the sunroof seals and took that all apart and fixed it with new parts.
The current owner, Paul, had the auto box rebuilt last year. He also, with my help, installed a Rob Budd fully recovered leather interior consisting of the dash, pod, consol, a-pillar covers. The wheel was replaced by me previously with a good quality stock wheel. Paul also had a full recarpeting professionally done with Rob Budd's high quality carpet kit. The only thing not re-done were the seats - they are in pretty good shape. Some minor wear on the driver's side bolster. The rear quarters are in good shape - no warps. Also, tires are good. There were numerous other things done as well (full CE panel R&R; windshield washer system R&R, power steering lines/res, etc). There are receipts for all off the work.
The known issues - odo gear on fritz. Paul fixed it last year, but it stopped working again. I sold Paul the car with approx 97k on the clock, and he put on about 2k more. Also, the a/c does not work. We tried to fix it when the dash was off - it holds vac, the control unit was replaced , and rung it all out - not sure what the issue is.
I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country (I did 3 years ago). It drives as it should and is rock steady at 100 plus.
Includes indoor car cover and Porken lift bars, plus a few bits and pieces.
Asking price is $11,500. Owner is Paul T, number is four 06, five 99, 9009.
Car is in Bozeman, MT.

Very pretty - I would think worth every penny, but unfortunately I am not looking to add to my collection.

What an awesome car and worth every cent. Great color combination and pedigree.
Paul also spared no expense maintaining this car.

Now THAT is a beautiful car! I really like Iris (and Hell) Blue! Gorgeous beast!

Price seems completely fair to me and it will certainly be moving to a less gorgeous part of the world almost no matter where it goes! I'd LOVE to summer in Bozeman!! Not sure I could take the winters, but I sure would love the late spring through early fall!

I love Bozeman. Was there in winter, so beautiful. Nice folks too.

Wish I had that car anywhere, and in Bozeman. Alas not until next year. Thank you IRS.
