I have wheels that could be mounted if we can retrofit existing tires. That would be great! Assuming I get all else resolved first.....and road/driveway conditions allow! I meet the 'somewhat firm' bar....the how to align tutorial is a great idea too...I did get that training once but as soon as distance became minutes my eyes glazed over...I'm up for a second attempt.

You mean you want to move your tires from one set of rims to another? That shouldn't be a problem. I will confirm purchase/delivery of the tire equipment prior to the event.

I updated the original post with more details. If you have any suggestions, let me know.
If someone else would like to give the demo on alignments, please feel free to step up. Otherwise, I will perform the demonstration on my car on the lift. It will be a demonstration, not a full alignment. I'll cover camber, caster and toe. Proper setup and use of the string jig. Installing the steering rack centering bolt, etc.
I'll need the lift by 1:30pm at the latest to get my car on it and prepped for the demo. Expect the demo to take between 20mins to an hour, depending on questions. Keep that in mind if you're planning on using the lift for something else
If someone wants to wrangle vendors, I'd be happy to do a raffle. And if shirts are desired, I could potentially have them made, but I don't have the time to come up with the design. I can put you in touch with the t-shirt guy I use for other events if someone wants to make that happen.

So it looks like maybe as many as 9 people? I'll consider the day confirmed and will plan accordingly
If you need directions, email or PM me and I will send them to you. I'll request a final head count a week or two before the event so I can make dinner reservations for us.
Looks like the tire changer and balancer are a sure thing at this point. If you want to have tires shipped to my place for installation when you arrive, please feel free to do so.

These events are great! Its on my calendar, 90% chance tho. I will have to miss out on the Magnolias also. I will bring my pneumatics for people to use.
I still would like to install new front tire and do an alignment if people can show me how and if there is time available. Thanks a ton for setting these GTG's up Bulvot!

John, do you have the manual for your car? If so, and presuming it has the alignment specs for your car, we can do the alignment on Saturday. I have the CD version of the manuals, but I'm not sure if it covers '84.
I'll plan on it, if you trust me with your car
