I kind of agree; but if you're saying it shold be priced at $10-15K so if after putting $10-15K into it, it's total value is $25K, I respectfully disagree. My point was, becuase it's a '95 GTS, any money put into it would someday be recouped. I don't think that's the case on a lot of 928s. Similar to your thread on which 928s are worth saving. I think this car falls into that category. And I don't think ~$20K is an unrealistic price--it's a lot of car for the money and it was the last production year. And now the qualifier: that all depends on the PPI.

I also think at 100k miles, these cars are just "broke in". But I understand/agree with your point for collectors.

Dave928S,

There is something wrong with those codes, as the pictures show the standard 8 way adjustable comfort seats, not ones with lumbar as the codes indicate!!

Ather is looking at this car for me... He looked at receipts today and I look forward to his report as $15k was spent in the last 2 years and the A/C is not working... What the hell did they spend $15k on?! Jeeze, you could get a good fully functional GTS engine, transmission and a NEW steering rack from 928 International and get them all installed for less than that! What the hell was wrong with this car??? Oh, yea, they took it to a STEALERSHIP! That is right...the place where they don't know ANYTHING about 928's but are happy to bill you by the hour as they learn on YOUR CAR!

As a point of reference this is the SECOND black/black auto '95 that I have seen selling for right at $20k in the last 9 months!

Thanks Gary
Strange ... database from several sources show 537 and 538 codes, and description from several option code sources show lumbar. Pics do clearly show 8 way both sides ... can't explain that, other than databases must be wrong assuming seats haven't been changed, and that would seem unlikely.

You guys are killing me... Have you not listened closely enough or are you guys just being funny??? That "person" reading is a computer! It is not a person at all...They type in the text and the computer handles the narration.

Option code 596. My GTS has it...was more common on early GTS's. Funny that the car in the pics doesn't have a flat black spoiler...
