I have both a G28/10 and 11 in my possession and will be dropping one into my '84 Euro S and selling the other. Is there a chart of top speed in each gear for each trans? I am leaning toward the 2.64 but want to make sure it is the right choice for me and my driving habits. Neither trans has limited slip.

Somewhere there is a link to a magic spreadsheet that does this.
I have a copy but can't attach it.
Switched to a winzip of the original document.
928 gear ratio calculator.xls and open it w/ Excel

In my Godzilla I had a 2.2 stock and a 2.63 '89. Here is the bottom line:
If you take any trips over 50 miles, you will want a 2.20. If you drive only locally, then the 2.63/4 is an INCREDIBLE performance upgrade, and turns the car into a beast. But at 80mph you will pray to be relieved of it as it drones on and on and on.

Unless your driving habits include 150 MPH then get the 2.64 for stoplight takes-offs and the 2.2 for cruising more quietly and fuel economy.

Decided that I will keep the G28/10 and sell the 28/11. What is the typical going rate for these right now without limited slip. I know 10s, 11s, 12s and 13s are pretty hard to come by, but what is the real world value?
Also, how does one effectively ship a transmission? I assume you strap it to a pallet. What is the best way to ship them?

If you drain the oil, and use layers of heavy corrugated paper, a 5 spd weighs just under the 155 lb UPS limit. I think its cheapest, but a pallet might be much safer. How to ship maybe best decided on distance and details.
No LSD a big factor, but so is condition, any idea what it may need or not? miles?
I'm glad I'm not still looking for one, its a tight market.
