Well, my set up is different. If you go back to the thread I linked to, the satellite receiver is on the floor next to the passenger seat. I just ran to the B pillar and over...was rather easy for my application.

I would say choose a side and go with it.

By the way, where did you find the Self adhesive magnetic pad?

Also, where do you recomend tapping into the speed sensor, Allan already pointed it out on the relay/fuse panel (p15). Is there a more convenient location behind the center console?

CE board IS the easiest spot to splice in.

Magnetic base came with the Pioneer unit.
