No real difference until 85 unless you find a Euro S which started in 80 and is similar to the 85 with a touch less low end and a touch more top end. Biggest driving difference in early cars is 5 spd vs AT, where the AT is a bit lackluster.

Well, it may have some new clutch parts, but I doubt it has a whole new clutch.
A whole new clutch would be more than the rest of the car is worth.
I know you told me that it had the slave and master cylinder replaced, and that is going to need some modification.
And you need to remember that that some of the other clutch parts that were not replaced are well over 30 years old.

Right. Well he said it needed "adjustment". I'm sure he didn't replace all the clutch parts.
@blown 87 - have you seen the pics of the engine on my earlier post. What did you think.?

I was comparing that one with others that I have found for sale and it looks pretty good. The body especially looks good.
Is there any Georgians near Athens or Atlanta interested in going to look at the 928 with.?

Also if a car is a good deal it will sell very quickly often same day it pops up so you have to act quickly. But since you have no or little cash on hand and wish to trade it makes it very hard to make a favorable deal. Drive the 944 learn to work on it and save up a few thousand so you go offer CASH to a seller. Plan on keeping the 944 AND having your 928.
If you can not save enough in 6 -12 months you probably can not afford to own a 928. At least not a dependable running driving one. But having the 944 keeps you driving a Porsche while you work on any 928 you get.

Well I understand I may have dodged a bullet but I would like to test drive a few to get the feel for what is a bad car and what is a good one.
