If not I can take one in the next couple of days. Car is at storage garage. I changed the timing belt about a year after I bought the car. I only did this as a preventative measure. Belt looked like it was cracking. I did not want any issues. I also changed the electric fuel pump. Can't think of anything else except for tires, oil and air filter. The dash does have a crack in it. I know this was common. When I go to take the picture I willget the Vin #... I do know that the last 3 #'s are 602 (this probably made in the first few months of production of this car). I'm sure there is no to many like this in the U.S. Tom
Good stuff. Pretty early car. Probably built in Oct 1977.

Why are all the interesting cars I run across brown, or have brown or maroon interiors?

What did Porsche have against nice colors like black, red or white?

*no affiliation*

I know someone selling a beautiful WHITE 1982 auto. No spoilers, has phone dial wheels. Brown leather is perfect. Borla exhaust. A/C is not cold and during test drive it felt like it needed motor mounts. I can put you in touch with owner if interested.

Sounds like a nice car but no thanks. I've had 2 OB 928s with brown interiors & I never really did like them. Great cars, but some of the color combos of those years left quite a bit to be desired.

Now a white exterior with a black & white pasha, 5-speed car? wow... I'd be all over that!

But seriously... who orders a high performance sports car in brown???

There were 3 vinyl interior colors offered in early '78. Black, Brown, Green. Mid-year came Cork.

Brown, that's an 'earth color' ... you know, like mud! Remember the 70s??

My two tone interior is originally called Black & "Champagne".... Over the years the champagne has lost its luster and has yellowed quite a bit. The interior is in fantastic shape and still looks great as far as I'm concerned. My wife lovingly refers to it as Baby$#@! Yellow! Fortunately, it doesnt smell like it

Not going to last long at that price and milage. Is it a really mild winter there or has this car been on the market for a while? Good find!

Based on the fore sale sign in the backseat and it's location just off the road.... this isn't his first attempt to sell.

I like brown. Very earthy. Seeing these cars out there makes me think someday I may find one that knocks my socks off and I will purchase it.

In the mean time, I will learn on the one I have and enjoy it.

I can't really tell from the cell phone picts, but if its the metallic brown thats a very pretty color.

Doesn't seem like the seller is trying "real" hard to sell it.

THaaats what my car looked like before the midnight blue paintjob...! I like it. Not sure I would have liked it with my cork interior though (and I'm guessing neither did my car's PO). Wish I could afford a garage partner for my 79.

Last month the Low mile 1982? located in Florida sold for $18,000. Someone should be all over this car for $6500. Go for it!!

I have seen and driven the car...keep in mind I don't know squat about 928's...I just started looking into them and came across this locally so took a look..I can tell you it needs paint, carpets (faded, rear one is dry rotted), drivers seat needs new padding, drivers mirror not working, radio not working, steering wheel cover coming off, dash pad cracked, passenger seat has a rip, a/c not functional (fuse ?) Drives well shifts well, brakes well, miles seem real..no dents, rust at all, glass all good. What else? A little too much of a project for me as a first 928 I think. Might be a good car to fiddle with and improve over tIme...

OH MY...that interior stuff can get expensive...but if it is really driving that well, it would be a great car to save for sure!
