I would be interested, but leave the collector without a flange so that I could put my own on after.

Interested. Especially if they can be made with a ''dual'' flange setup, to fit both on S2 and S4 type heads.

Hi Alex, I am glad someone has decided to take on this project, I have been approached numerous times to have my RHD headers duplicated. However I really have little to no interest in doing so, the little interest would be just so the RHD owners could have headers.

Yes it is possible to make a set that fit both RHD and LHD, I have mocked up and checked this with the Tri-Ys but haven't done it with the 4 to 1 setup. I would have thought that will be a little easier.

If you take time to consider the amount of work it will take to make a stepped set, a set that is equal length, btw equal length is not normally equal length, it just depends on the definition, mine was within 1/2". A set made from stainless steel with proper merge collectors, this can't be done without specialist equipment, these alone are normally $500 a pair if you get a cheap set. Burns Stainless want $654 for a pair. The argon you will go through back purging the welds, normally the base materials have a world price and cost roughly the same everywhere. The setup required to give clearance to the clutch housing so that the headers don't have to come off when you need to remove the clutch housing to work on that or check that the thrust bearing is not being loaded on the autos. The amount of work in design required so that the 928 owners are to fit them without having to undo engine mounts etc. Which requires dropping the steering etc.

All of this can be done however none of this is easy, I would be extremely cautious about trying to be all things to all people. I think that the price is way too cheap to achieve your goals, the danger there is losing money or cutting the targets and ending up with something that buyers may be underwhelmed. I know you are getting the job done outside the U.K so labour costs will be low but it is not a job I would take on unless there was some reasonable amount of reward as there is lots of potential downside at the price you are quoting. I am not trying to put you off, just supply information you can use to make this a successful project.

Hi Alex I am in Aus but regularly visit UK where my son and his family live. I am renovating a 1982 5spd 928s that I bought stripped for respray. I am interested but not yet as budget and effort is focused on reassembly and getting everything working.

Could you let me have your contact details for possible future follow up in 2 to 3 years.
