I wonder if there's any room to mount a dual-remote bypass filter setup?

OK, good to know. Didn't see a large hose for full flow in the photo. I replaced my oil hoses with AN style so would probably be easy to plumb in the filters. Has anyone done this on a 928?

Then what's the point?

Bingo

Not to mention increasing the filtration of the oil doesn't necessarily increase the longevity.

The answer is obviously easy for you: do not install a dual-bypass filtration system.
Good luck.

I like the idea. I put one on my tahoe and the oil stays soo clean . makes sense but hard to see where it would fit . do you have any placement ideas?

Makes the oil look clean, but actually only removes particles smaller than those removed by the normal filter, which already removes particles below the size that would have any effect on the motor. Neither remove any non particulate junk like fuel or water, or add back additives that are used up during the life of the oil. Any positive benefits likely easily outweighed by the risk of additional hoses or connections failing.

The old Frantz toilet paper filters were around until some time in the 70's I think, eeek, its still around. http://www.frantzoil.com

You know how some dudes will remove the entire belt-driven fan assembly, and install a full-electric setup? I've seen loads of space opened up in front of the engine after that mod.

Here's a gigantic report about bypass filtration based upon bus and Tahoe application.
