I wonder if there's any room to mount a dual-remote bypass filter setup?

Default I wonder if there's any room to mount a dual-remote bypass filter setup?

I've always wanted to install a setup like this.

Maybe in the rear somewhere?

It would be sweet to have the filters in a place where I can just reach down and remove/install. I've got a drain-plug valve installed now, so I just slide under a pan, open the valve, and it pours out. Easy. I want the filter change to be just as easy, without having to jack the car. Plus the bypass will filter the **** out of the oil.

It was a pain to install, but was very effective?

Amsoil claims the bypass media can trap particles down to one micron.

I wasn't aware 928 engines were failing due to dirty oil from an inadequate oil filtration system.

I said nothing about 928 engines failing from dirty oil.

installing the kit was not bad at all.

what was the pain was removing the oil filter in it's origional location. the turbo bloced most of the access.

it made all future filter changes a breeze.

Even though the convenience of filter removal would be nice, I wouldn't want to install more hoses with hot pressurised oil in the engine bay than absolutely necessary. To get it out of the way of a turbo I can understand, but can't see the advantage with filtration, over what is already proven to be adequate.
Oil's cheap ... I'd rather just change the oil regularly than look to extend the interval by using bypass filtering.

So if I understand this correctly, one would be installing a bypass filter instead of a full flow filter to filter only some of the oil just for the convenience of filter changes?
Or would one leave the full flow filter in place and add the bypass filter? Three filters to change?
I just see this as added complexity, even more flex hoses to resolve what issue?
Just trying to understand why, as bypass filters went out of favor in the 50's if I recall, possibly for good reason.

I've thought about doing the same thing. Reason, My diesel F250 7.3 has gold oil in it after 5000 miles.
I built mine using Baldwin filters.

If I did install one it would be a temporary addition to the full flow filter. I'll start on my X5. With shut off valves, no racing or tract time, just hwy cruise time with it connected. Also Baldwin bypass filters have the correct pressure valves in them already.
