Or radio? When you're talking to him do you mind asking why he wanted no radio? I'm curious to hear that reasoning.

I did and he said he never listens to it anyway so that's how he ordered it.

He probably wanted to put his own in. Factory audio sucked back in the day. Even the Porsche options could be improved on substantially.

Mark can't you just drive Leroy until you find a car?

Fairest way to set a price, public auction, but I wouldn't give it to ebay or even an auctioneer, just make a thread with some picts and best offer after a couple weeks take it.

BTW make sure to have Greg do a PPI.

Maybe so but it still has the factory block off plate installed.

He might be a dick or just busy. Call him, let him know who you are relative to 928's and see what's up. Selling cars in that area is not a hobby of a rich guy.

Mark,
I talked to that dude on the phone. He said admittedly he was 'puter illiterate.

Give him a call. Neat car with a neat lineage, with the Rome dealership and all.
...And how many Euros do you know of with Porsche script clothe seats?

This type of car is worth quite a bit. But to me, a car like this is worth $0. Similarly, a zero-mile 1969 beetle is a showcar, but has no value to a Guy like me. I want to be able to enjoy my car, not just know in my garage is an old, underpowered car I can't drive because I won't put another mile on it.

OH GOD.... DON'T LET HIM DO THAT!!!!

Oh...now that I have had a little time to think about it, I talked to a friend from the 928OC about this car at length a month or two ago. I guess he didn't get the car... You know this person I spoke to Mark he already has a nice 928 of his own but this one caught his eye.

Here's the listing, phone number is in there: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/2764306213.html

Brad (tilac999) and I were thinking of laying eyes on it. Maybe we can get over there this weekend to take a look. We're not in the market, just interested in seeing it.

Thank you
I'd love for a fellow Rennlister to take a look before I take a leap
