Dude, that's just you looking through those bloodshot eyes.

Oh wait! Was that a serious question?

Last year the Fling was in mid-March. This year it's mid-April. Been living on the coast for 6 years now, and I would say on average, that April is the best month of the year weatherwise. T

I drove from here to Third Coast several weeks ago and had a really great time. However it is really a long drive, so I had been reluctant to try to make Spring Fling too; then I found three or four good reasons to make this trip also even though it is going to be about 200 miles farther both ways. The best idea I was given that made me decide to come is the hoped-for opportunity to do some fitting of the Rear WW Liners for the GTS cars since I don't yet have a GTS of my own. TONY 77 is going to be my test mule (his GTS) and I hope we will be able to spend most of the day Friday doing what I need at this point. It may be that all we do is install a set in his car that I can take out and then use for the tooling to help set up some production from here. That means I'll probably have to do it twice since I hope to leave a set of these in Tony's GTS when I leave. Anyone who gets there early is welcome to come watch and probably even help some.

If it doesn't step on anyone's toes I'm probably going to bring some of my plastic items for both show and tell and for sale at SF. I'm also going to bring a few door prizes for a drawing at one forum or another, either Saturdeay evening or Sunday at breakfact, perhaps. I hope you might be able to win one of them if you are there. They don't amount to a bunch but I kind of like them.

The plastic i'm bringing will be a few of my Spare Tire Covers and now it looks like I'm going to have several of my new Cowl Covers with age appropriate stickers for them available. I will likely also have my replacement cowl seals available.

I hope to see you there.

Jerry as always you will be very welcome and bring all the goodies you like. Everyone will be very interested to see your fender liners and cowl covers.

I would like to buy two of your spare wheel covers please?

Thanks Roger. You and all the others certainly made me feel at home at Third Coast, so I am really looking foreward to Spring Fling. I really enjoy myself there. I could almost become a Texan. In fact I married one once.

I'm gong to bring some of my new cowl covers for sale and a few Spare tire covers, also for sale. Two will be earmarked for you, Roger. Thanks. If you need them earlier let me know.

In Rockport now with the family for a few nights during Spring Break. Its my first time in this area in many years and after spending a fun evening with Tony and lovely wife Tambra yesterday and seeing how nice this area is, I wish I could make it back down in April.

We did a bay fishing trip today and my son got to experience the feel of a 24" redfish on the end of his line. If anyone needs a guide during the fling let me know and I'll send you his number.

Jerry,

Can you bring a spare tire cover to me in Houston when you stop by?

Sure Don. I'll be bringing a few with me to SF anyway, so I'll bring you one on the way.
