When I was a teen ager sixty years ago, blue lights on either side of the license plate light were really popular. The bonehead cops didn't like them then either.

My daughters 944 has the window washers that glow red. I think they were put on for deer warning lights. They are fairly discreet and actually look pretty neat at night but we had to unplug them. She got pulled over one night around midnight and the cop told her she could not display red up front. If it was not late on a weekend night she probably would not have got pulled over for something so small, but I am sure they were fishing for drunk drivers.

Cool Imo, where do I get one since you would know LOL

Now don't be shy, show us the last coolest thing you have done to your 928.
I never seem to see many updates on your car, only comments to others.
I am almost positive you have a sweet ride though

Ok I think this Its time to change directions.

I need a new interior mirror as mine is loosing its mirror quality.

Is stock the only option? I dont want some cheap napa thing.

Have any of you found a nice replacement?

BTW thanks for your comments and opinions.

Hi,

Just my opinion, but if you want to upgrade some lights in your car, you can improve all the dash lights with led's, give some extra light to the a/c **** and try to iluminate the window, sunroof, etc switches.
But, as I said, it's just an opinion of a guy that likes to have his car as original as possible or do some changes that won't affect it's originality!

Regards

I did this to my 944 Turbo with temporary paint...

While the flames were on the car I had the urge to...

Change all the dash and interior lights to red LEDs.
Get a skull shift **** with eye sockets that light up red.
Found a skull shaped stereo amp to mount on the rear deck.
Install red undercar lighting that changed to yellow when under boost.

It was fun to think about, but luckily, I washed off the flames before making any actual modifications.

Very nice build and awesome detail in documenting it.
I was wondering if you can share how your air filter looks and works?

It's all in the SC build thread. but it's a very simple setup. Cone K&N clamped to the back of the compressor.

It all depends what kind of look you are going for, and what kind of look fits the car.

To me, if you want flames, bright flashy paint, big chrome exhaust tips, big fat tires, then it might be better to build a hot rod.
