Heater core pipe o-rings?
PET shows 99970161540 as the o-rings for the base of the pipes that bolt to the heater core inside the HVAC box. Anybody know the size of these o-rings? I'm about to open up my HVAC box for cleaning and want to have these ready to go for reassembly.
And the same question for 99970162040 - the o-rings between the AC expansion valve and the pipes that go into the AC evap core. Anybody know the size of these?
TIA

I dont remember the 'O' ring size but it's a horrible thing to get to.
In my case the pipes were very corroded and I had to make new ones.

Thanks for the pic. My pipes look to be in good condition, but I can see the AC core front face is filthy, so even more determined to completely strip down and clean the entire system inside and out.

BigAl: I am eagerly looking forward to your write-up My ventilation box is sitting on the bench waiting for a brave soul like you to lead the way Are you going to add a GTS-style filter in it? That is my plan...
Cheers!
