Looks like I will be doing it, I ordered the housings today, well one of them any way, getting the other one from Rob.
Thanks for all your help Alan.

Well for new units it will cost you probably $500-600, for this you get the same capability of aux high beam headlight and slightly better fog lights.
How many people ever use their foglights for real?
You need to swap the cluster housings out...
If you add HID lighting you add another ~$200 and need to drill the housings for the HT lines.
The Euro fog lenses also have a marker light socket - if you want to wire that you have to add new wiring/grommet in the housing
The Euro lenses have the transparent spacer in place of the rubber spacer between outside light & turn signal/marker - you have to make sure you get all the hardware for that.
Lots of money, lots of work - not that much different for most folks.
I use the Fogs for DRL in wintertime, but thats work to configure too...

I have a factory Euro 90 S4. The 3 position headlight adjustment works great on those dark country roads and the fog lights light up below the headlights and to the side ditch very well.
Let me know if I you need a picture of components

Also, does any one know if a 89 US car has the factory wiring over to the CE panel or did that start in 90?
I would love to have pictures of the ends where the motors hook up and also how the wires are routed.
I know that may not be possible, so any pictures you can take would be very helpful.
I try to make stuff look and act like it was done at the factory.
Thanks.

So is this a variable adjustment or is it 3 positions?

The variable position has 3 detent posistions but is also contiuously variable
An '89 will not have the wiring 90 will.
I do have some pictures - I will have to dig them out
You can fabricate connectors to match from female bullet crimps

Jeff, the bulbs change out from the back. Have to remove whole fog/driving light assembly to access.

Roger is trying to get the connector ends if we can come up with a part number for the adjustment motors connectors.
