Strange that so much was modded changed on this car. Why the 911/944 seats for example? The 928 seats were/are superior unless weight was the only consideration.

Would like to see the engine and underbody to understand the full extent of what has been changed/modded/fabricated.

Thanks for posting.

Looks like a Boxster stretch.

Kudos for being ahead of the curve in that respect, I guess.

Some people should leave car designing to car designers. YUK.

Does the C36 mean Canada? or is it in the VIN WP0JB0929KS861056?

Screams "Miata" (Miata, of course screams "Elan"). The styling is so bad, having never been a fan of kit cars or "customs" I don't understand the appeal. If it was a 928 then I feel bad for the car underneath. "Help me, Help me!"

I agree it looks more like a modified Boxster. From the looks and description, the drivetrain, frame, undercarriage, etc. are all that remain 928.

And was the $25k in restorations, incl. rebuilding the engine with only 50k miles, done after it had already been bastardized into the Modern Spyder or as part of the conversion? Sounds like it was afterwards, so how had it been treated to need all that work?

I agree. Proportions are all off. Could have done such a better job with the headlights and tail. Looks more like a wannabe Z8...

Swing and a miss.

Wow.
