As you know, his GT is ridiculously awesome! I concur.
However, if I had a DMC12, I'd travel back in time and suggest John Delorean to watch out for the 'big dogs' and tax men.
But then by doing so, may cause harm to myself, which erases me from pictures, eliminating me from my present future.
That is, if you subscribe to the whole paradoxal sort of thing.

Good luck, George, just hope the audience remembers the honking V8 under the hood that goes with the wanna-do-Mornay nostalgia. Then you're golden.

Met the DeLorean owner tonight, a young Navy E-5, very dedicated to the marque. And I must give him credit, as he was wearing a period correct, DeLorean embroidered Members Only jacket in Stainless Steel grey... classic!

The 1933 Packard V12 took the prize. I don't know how I placed, but it doesn't matter. Our beloved 928 got some recognition today, by folks that lusted for it in the 80s and 90s and from some that learned about it and its significance in automotive history for the first time. I met some nice folks, both car enthusiasts and not, and it was a fun experience.
Many thanks for your support and kind words.

Thanks George! I've been thinking about what I might create for the upcoming OCIC and was wondering what you came up with. That looks very nice and does a great job of educating those who aren't familiar with the 928. You represented us well!

Points out many problems with the " popular vote " in car shows and elections. The 33 PACKARD was so far beyond the reach of the average man that it was the Maybach of it's time. Big impressive car but they made less than 2500 V-12 Packards in 1933 !
Nice that you could show the GT if you had pointed out that a person could BUY a 928 GT car today for less than $25,000 or a much similar S-4 for less than $10,000 it might have inspired more people to realize that a 928 is such a bargain ! Good job you probably sold a few 928s !

I'll be showing my GTS, and running it in a top speed run on a historic racetrack here in Tasmania. I like that graphics layout and the inclusions, so might do something similar. Good job in showcasing the 928 ... love that color!

Saw your car, it looks great! The Packard was quite the show piece. I talked to the owner for a few minutes. The car has quite a history and has been to Pebble Beach, etc. He estimates that the current value is $600K+.
Thanks for representing us.

Thanks guys.
I had a number of conversations to that effect. A few asked me if I bought it new, and I responded with the fact that the sticker price was about 75% of the cost of my first house purchased in 1990!
There are a few more educated people out there about what a supercar bargain the 928 is if purchased carefully.
