I don't see any header clearance issues with that swap.

Very cool. I thought it should make more noise than it made until I realized out it is not firing.

If you are going to go through that much trouble, at least make it gas powered instead of air powered.

A friend of mine is machining from scratch, like this guy, a pair of flat 4's about 35cc, and if he ever finishes one i'm going to put it into a scale 914!

I noticed he has the cams running at crankshaft speed (same size gears on both the crank and the cams)...made no sense until I saw he intended it for compressed air.....and I agree, go the extra and run it on fuel....but in all fairness to model builders carbs, 4 cycle engines, spark plugs and the like tend not to "scale" well and still run...

Virtually all road-going Ferrari's are hand-made and gas-powered...

Yup, I was thinking of that too. This one doesn't impress me much. It's a nice miniature but pistons don't have rings, runs on compressed air. It's not an engine. Now that ferrari that has been around for a bout 10 years is amazing. It's FI and sound sliek the real thing........and has a working gearbox too, with a clutch.

these guys are SUCH idiots! really!! that ferrari! so amazing! how can the guy be so talented and so STUPID. alll he needed to do was scale it up by a foot or so, and some kid could drive it down the street and you could enjoy the real sound of a ferrari! how cool would that be. use that little motor in something someone can drive. put it in one of those kiddy cars , or a mini bike, SOMETHING functional!

it kills me to think the only thing that will ever push that ferrari throttle is his little finger!

Not a lawyer in the world going to be able to ensure a happy ending to that disaster!
