here is another example, but this one runs, all the instruments work, the 4 speed transmission works for real, etc.... and as to the why? Not everyone has the space, the materials, the $$$, or the machines to build in larger sizes. Some of these scale model people are really good, one in particular scales everything in his models accurately, including all the hardware...he is making scale nuts and bolts down to about .005" diameter with hex heads and accurate thread sizes for some of his scale models. (Jerry Keifer) This fellow has done a supurb job on this Dusenberg...
