Ken are you close to the airport or the seller? I might just fly up and drive it home condition permiting.

Mark, you have my address on file.
We live close to airport (my WOT 'test track' is out there). What looks like the seller's storage is not too far away.
You should let me make a 55psi (S4 FPR) chip for it, before you drive it back. It should be a quick conversion from my existing '85-'86 32V chipset. I have a spare S4 knock sensor valley plug waiting for it (courtesy of GB).
I could probably even convert it to use a S3 LH, with an O2 loop. (Have the wiring for that, here somewhere.) Speaking of which, how are you going to register it in CA...or should I ask?

Oh well. The weather isn't very conducive to doing WOT runs anyway.
Of course, I don't mind giving you a ride from the airport to the venue. (I'd offer you a place to stay, but our spare room is not available, unfortunately.)
I have a four post lift you can use to check out the car before you leave. Maybe some of the local schmucks will stop by, or we'all can go someplace for lunch/din-din or something.

Ha! It would take a few days to just get it checked out and replace the sensors, etc. Chip tuning would take at least 2-3 days (weeks) to do properly.

RE: phone, yes.
I can probably also arrange for an hour or two on a two-post lift, inside (my four post is outside), Thu or Fri, at my friend's shop, if need be.

Or, did you mean a lift from the airport? We stay up late, so no problem there, either.
At minimum, you'll probably want to bring along a rebuilt MAF. Especially, with a LH 16V. (Never know with these darn MAFs.)
