"always wanted one of these bad boys" well his ardor cooled rather quickly, didn't it? Wanted one, but didn't want to do any work on it. Coupled with he bought it at auction spells flipper. No shame in that here. But judging from the interior, what was he thinking? I do hope somebody saves that 310 hp euro. I've never been to one of those auctions, but I'm guessing he paid $1,500.

Someone buy this car (out of my price range), then let me have it for a few weeks. I'll tune it, install a knock sensor, and make chips for it!
Can you put it in a priority mail box and ship it to Maryland? I think I deserve a 928 for Christmas.

The black car was never on Craigslist here locally. I recognized a sign in one of the pics; map added (pics were taken in the St. Johns neighborhood).

Honey Bunny and I were just talking about traveling to DE/CZ/SK the other day. I might be able to get over there this year.

Fantastic!
Are you traveling for 4 weeks in europe or is it a short trip?
The red car is very rough.
The black one has a very clean looking engine bay but the interieur is very dirty and the broken leather dash is ugly.

Not me. If it were in town, I would have had to buy it, at that price.

I almost rationalized the manual, but it is starting to climb over $5500, with <3 hours to go.

Jeez, just another 'flipper'.

I may be able to help, but if the car is worth the price, delivery could be delayed by a few weeks, as detailed in the beginning of this thread...

Still here, enjoying the rain.

Not buying a euro has helped me, for the moment, save for a possible trip to Europe, sometime in 2012. ('This year' does sound a bit confusing, in the post above.)
