There was a noticeable increase in interior room with the S4 ('94). I think that was the last measurable
increase. I didn't notice an increase in space in the V8 over my S4s.
You definitely should drive these cars you are considering if possible. The Esprit is a pretty raw driving experience compared to the 928, especially the V8 with its power. I haven't driven the other cars that you are considering.
