Right now the Viper is in the lead on the poll. Lotus close 2nd. It's quite close on all four options though.

Just to add a little fuel to the fire, I just returned home from a trip to Phoenix to purchase an '03.5 Final Edition Esprit. It has 14K miles and is in almost perfect condition. I paid pretty close to the upper end of your price range... You could easily find an '00/'01 in your price range and probably an '02 with the updated taillights, exhaust, brakes, and wheels. I don't know if that makes a difference to you.

I love those old Ferrari 308 GT4's. They look great in a 70's wedge way..

For something modern I like the look of a Maserati Coupe - around the 2004 vintage. Perhaps a modern 928?

ps Nothing compares to the curves of that avator a few replies back!

+1 on the Maserati Coupe, but it sounds like the OP is looking for something a little more exotic looking.

My new car:

Congrats. That's a beauty. I like the round taillights too. But my main necessity on the Esprit is the newest interior and the v8. My understanding is interior room got much better at that point. I've got to get behind the wheel of these cars - which is not easy to do considering their rarity.
