That was back in the 60's and 70's. Edelbrock sent me a new manifold which I sold, (they would not pay for labor on replacing the manifold). Accell gave me a new distributor. Maybe I just had a string of bad luck on parts. My everyday vehicles are Fords and have been very good. The 928 is my baby and only used on nice days. Like I mentioned, racing parts are not always the way to go for street driving.

I think the timing belt is the fuse that protects the cams etc when something else like a water pump fails. Any idea which is going to break first, racing belt or cam?
