I have 295/30 X 18 on the rears of both 928's. Have 255/35 X 18 on the front of one, with 235/40 X 18 on the front of the other. Wheel widths are 10" both cars, 9" on the 255 front and 8" on the 235 front.

Should have been more specific - my reply corrected.

Theory says you should keep the rolling radius more or less constant F to R to avoid malfunction of the ABS system.

Despite folks trying all sorts of bizarre combinations no one to my knowledge every posted of ABS failure.

Mind you- those 10 inch front wheels of yours may test the limits a bit!

On a more cautious note, I would not run a 285x35 section cos of the slightly reduced acceleration due to gearing impact. If you do use the combo you suggest, check that the wheel size can take 245 section safely. A 245x45 will fit fine on a 16 inch rim but check to ensure it still works on a 18 inch- assuming someone makes such a size.
