Fenders and hood on my mid-production (12/88) '89 S4 are single-stage. The bumper shells are two-stage. Original paint no accident history. The difference isn't apparent just looking at it, but is obvious with what comes into the towel when polishing.

not trying to step on your toes, but the to have a good rating with the BBB you need only pay their fee... i know from experience..

I do not know if i would want someone who rides a lawnmower painting my car.. I have been in the landscape biz for 20 years, see a lot of lawncare/pressurewashing.. lawncare car detailing,etc... generaly someone that devotes ALL his time to one profession does a better job..
jack of all trades, master of none...

again, not trying to step on anyones toes.

Yardpro your right about being a lawnmen/painter.....

BUT you should know, Ralph is our resident Shamwow salesman,
he is merely giving Fred a little shoe bustin and its all in good fun.

What Ralph doesn know is that Fred has gone and stolen the supercharger pulley and hidden it in Erics basement....
Shhhh, dont tell anyone

I don't know how mutch it can cost but you can save a lot if you remove it yourself from the car.
Definitely the best way to do a good job.
Here's a very good write-up on how to remove it:

Thank you Dwayne!

It will never, ever be found if that is the case.
I heard he has lost cars for years, only to have them show up at some strange location.

Nobody wants to come all the way to Wyoming or to wait as long as I did but I have a body man, same age as I am (76 years young) who did my car after I was tee-boned in the rear quarter panel. He got rid of the tee-bone, completely wet sanded the body after priming the tee bone and then repainted the entire car (same color as original). This also included a number of "minor" repairs like making the sunroof work properly and fixing a some other minor body dents and dings. Total charge was a little shy of $4000. Other shops wanted a minimum of $6000. The hooker? It took him about a year to get it all done. Needless to say, a year is a long time for someone who doesn't have that many years left. I am very satisfied with the result.
