I'm definately going to get new ones now that they are available, I had
those made 4 yrs ago before all the cool stuff started showing up.
I think I'll try them in another motor just to see how they work & get
new ones for the stroker

Just amazing hardware, looks alot better than showroom. Those lower front factory suspension pieces are some beefy stuff. Well done. How did you clean them so effectively, I cleaned mine on the car and though clean, not up to this level.
Have you listed the specifics anywhere - of the shock/springs/brakes? Are all the other little bits, rubber bushings on the factory a-arms and such sourced from the regular suppliers?
How is the ride?

I do have one comment on your intake pieces.
It appears as though you cut the bottom off the S4 intake manifold, and then milled them a little to attach the trumpets. I see the trumpets are in aluminum though.
I do hope that you have a good welder who is well versed with welding these two metals together. Should be interesting once done though.

Funny, when I first read the post about the link, I thought it was saying that a droplink wasn't installed properly...happy to still be more gear than web oriented.
Anyway..hey, whatsthis? http://s296.photobucket.com/albums/m...rent=427SB.jpg

SMTcapecod, that is the last project here's a link to it

It's an old BMW 5-series with an alum Donovan 7-ltr small block
And Porsche brakes (993 TT)
Lizard, that bottom/flange's are billet alum just like the stacks, Todd made them
Sterling, yep Mike's parts and are they ever sweet !
TV, Koni's rebuilt & re-valved & 750lb fronts w/ 375lb rears
the control arms were glass beeded then tumbled then clear coated
The ride is perfect, rock solid, you'd never know the spring rates
were as high as they are.
