puyi,

What you say about the springs is propbably true, I asked the engineers
at the place I bought them from ( http://performanceshock.com/ ) the same
question, they said it didn't matter, maybe they knew they were talking to
a novice
Mark Anderson could probably detect the differance if they were swapped
back and forth but the other 99.99% of us would never know.
Thanks for the tip though, next time I'm in there taking stuff apart I'll
put them on the bottom, at least it'll then look like I know what I'm doing

Sway bar info >
"Hollow" 1-1/4" OD
pt #608-120-37.5 .120" wall w/6'' arms

Thanks,
Joe

Joe -

I saw your car at Cars & Coffee on Saturday. I tried to find you but after spending too much time oogling the McLaren and the Aventador, I missed you. Great job on making the car looks so immaculate.

Hello Dennis, really sorry I missed you, yea there's always some pretty cool stuff there.
Thanks again for your advice in helping me to pick out my spring rates -- couldn't be happier !

I do hope that you have a good welder who is well versed with welding these two metals together. Should be interesting once done though.
The flange is a custom cnc machined flange - it is not cut from the S4 intake.

Default billet not bimbo

Lizard, I can see where you'd get confused, I wasn't attempting
to weld mag to alum -- the attached pics show the bottom
flanges are made from the same block of alum that the bells
were made from.

Absolutely stunning work Joe, you should be very proud.

I have never seen all the fasteners so clean, are they new / re-plated?

That is absolutely beautiful Joe!

If you had standalone EFI on your car I would be trying to convince you to help make a VVT system for our cars.......

ghinkel, all replated

58 speedster, we have something in common, I work at >
http://www.willhoitautorestoration.com/index.php

Lizard, standalone is already here and already mapped, it'll go in
just before the stroker does.

V V T -- well, I think that is over my head I'll leave it to someone else
I'd rather have an additional 2 ltrs anyway and in case thats
not enough I have a almost complete supercharger in storage

I just have to say that i admire the work you have done to your 928.

I wonder what length for the lower brace you chose. I was thinking of building my own from scratch, but if it can be bought for around $50 then is this a better option.

A other question, what length and rate did you choose for your front sway bar, did you check Carl's rates or did you go for a different setup.

MattiasH,
It was pure luck they happen to have the right length (30") or I would
have had to start from scratch as well, the $50 was for everything, the
bar, the two heim ends & jam nuts

re: swaybar rate > I copied Mike Simard
The swaybar length is 37.5" X 1.25" O.D. - Hallow
The rates are in the website

My front coilovers are 750lb , this combo is great.
Rears are 375-lb
