Did your 86.5 come with a red or silver rim emergency spare tire?

I test fitted the silver spare to the front of my 86.5. Fits...snug, but it fits nicely without any rubbing on the caliper. This was the first time I've pulled the front wheel off. That big caliper didn't look like it fit behind the silver spare. I've only seen larger calipers and thicker rotor on my old Unimog 416 (which is actually related to a 928 in that it had torque tubes - two in fact). The Unimog had TWO calipers on each rotor, 4 pistons each, and massive rotors, the largest I've ever discovered behind a wheel.

None of my '86.5s came with a spare. I use a red one on trips >100 miles. Otherwise, I remove it.
The aluminum spare starts w/'86.5 to clear the 4-piston calipers. Previous years have the steel boat anchor.
