How do you clean the base of the windshield on the inside?

Default How do you clean the base of the windshield on the inside?
I've got a leather dash and noticed I've got some dirt and debris wedged down in the windshield where it meets the dash. Any tips how to clean in there? Very, very tight space.

I just use windex and paper towels.

the end of a thin cloth, tshirt, folded tight, or paint brush, or air compressor nozzle

Prepare for it to be nasty the first time you do it as the windshield "tar" oozes out some.
