Default Removal Of Spark Plugs to do a T-Belt Job

Its been seveal years (~5) since I did a T-Belt so I had to look up the engine rotation and a few other items. While looking over Wally Plumley's "THE 928 TIMING BELT/TENSIONER SYSTEM" I notice neither mention removing the spark plugs.

I'm I the only one that does this?

It does make it easier to rotate the crank. I didn't do it, and had no problem rotating the crank.

Possible to rotate crank pretty easily without.

Keeping them plugs installed eliminates 8 potential entry points for grit or parts or tools could enter the top end.

You don't need to remove them.
Only easier to turn the crank.

In my limited experience, it would take longer to remove and re-install the plugs than the extra time/effort to turn the crank with the plugs in. The crank turns easily enough with the plugs in.

It was easier, I already had spark plug wires off for repair ( https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...d-end-fail.htm l). Than sprayed some lube down the bores and finished it off by stuffing red rags in the spark plug hole to keep thing clean.
