Default 1982 928 Weissach Question

Hi All,

So, I have a 1982 928 Weissach with a 5-speed. I know they built 205 total, but has anybody ever seen a published manual transmission production number?

More info in this thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/928-foru...ion-928-a.html

In the Porsche PET database, there are 202 cars with the option code for Weissach, of which 73 are 5-speed.

Not sure yet why there are Weissach cars with higher than #202 production plate - Roger has #210 so I've just posted in that other thread to find out his VIN and see if its within the range of cars with the option code.

I have loved 928's since I was a teen. Which means I have been looking for them in AutoTrader and the classifieds since that time, as well. About 15 years ago, I came across a Weissach for sale with the matching luggage, and they were GIVING it away. I cannot remember the price, but I do remember that I was in dis-belief that you could get one for such a reasonable price. I could not afford it back in those days, I was still in college. I wanted it so bad.

I wish I would have robbed a liquor store or something and come up with the funds to buy it.
