Default HF Circuit tester.

Picked this up the other day for 6 bucks or so. Pretty handy in the fact that you dont have to mess with a "regular" voltmeter and the leads.!

I went through all my fuses today...no draw. The glove box light does indeed turn off!

Next up, Im hooking it up to my fuel pump fuse as i drive to see how much current my 044 draws .

just one of the gee whiz purchases as you walk up and down the aisles at HF.

the pic below shows the smaller blade type fuse fitting....the one i bought fits our cars perfectly(not the mini type) Cord is nice and long also.

Yup, one of the better items at HF. Made quick work of checking all five (yes 5) fuse boxes in my mothers Jaguar looking for an amp leak.

too bad they didnt engineer the same level of "safety" into fuel delivery!

My dad lost his '76 XJ12L to an engine fuel fire.

I didn't like the 10 sec test only warning stickers, but not sure if the original "fuse buddy" has/had the same restrictions. I have the Fuse Buddy that works with a meter.

BTW I wish on the $6, goes on sale from time to time at I think $13 or so, and there is a 20 amp and a larger fuse type 30 amp.

Why not buy the 30 amp tester?

Thanks for the heads up. I'll look to pick one up the next time I'm in HF.

The 20amp tester is for micro-blade fuses, 30amp is for full size.

I have both.
