Default I broke the fuel pump to fuel filter hard line

While attempting to replace my fuel filter, I split the hard line between the pump and the filter. (1982 5 speed)

Has anyone replaced this line with a flexible braided line?

If so, what size fittings did you use?

Please replace with the correct p/n 928 356 063 10

New for $47

Used for $20

It would end up costing you more to make something custom.

no you need to order a new hard line,
important also order the 4 new sealing washers and dont overtighten the cap nut,

or you will deform the end of the hard line and thus need another new hardline

Yeah, happens... take care to counterhold on all those fittings. Used or new, put the original part back in unless you've got the equipment to make hose in your garage.

Dont tighten them too much, It doesn't take much for them to seal.

The fact that they are readily available tells you they are almost a consumable. My local wrench stocks them.
