The cam profile I think is "similar", but to use S3 cams in an S4 they need machine work, and as I recall Elgin doesn't want to do it anymore.

^ Yep, what he said. The cost of acquiring the camshafts is relatively low compared to the cost of modification. I have multiple sets, and while the modification provides great results, given the option of aftermarket cams now, it has definitely gotten less popular. Figured I would throw them up for cheap and see if anyone is interested.

I'll check them over to make sure they are as I remember (not at the shop right now), but I would say $235 + shipping for the full set. Carpet is nice and black, and from what I recall, no damage outside of normal wear on the leather. The set I am describing is, by far, the nicest set of black rear seats I have.
The lower sections are no longer stapled together, but those are mainly for installation and keeping them aligned (could also re-staple or hog ring them together, if desired).
