I decided to let one of my ideas out of the box this weekend and ran to Michael's crafts to buy some moisture reistant PolyFil, a type of polyester used for stuffing in pillows. I also picked up some foam used for outdoor cushions also made by the same company.
I stuffed the pillow stuffing in the quarter panel speaker holes and covered up with a 7"x7" square cut of foam to insulaye the 6.5" speaker holes. On the front, I cut the foam to conform the door panel from the front tweeter speaker, to the door handle and shoved it in the hole for the 4" speaker, leveling it and spreading it behind the panel.
After reinstalling all the speakers, I fired up my stereo and blasted Motley Crue's Kickstart My Heart only to find a 200% improvement in midrange and bass. The sound system now sounds as it should and may rival my 10 series Flowmasters. Anywho, this is an inexpensive project I recommend to anyone that wants a quick fix.

I was waiting for the bass-o-matic- excellent! This thread was a great way to start my day, even better than getting up an hour early because I forgot about the clock thing.
