Just got a 91 S4 and thinking of putting on car chrome man hole covers as a temporary wheel choice as I've found a pair that would work although it makes my 91 look like a 89 or older. My standard 91 wheels are too chewed to fix and Im 7k into to the fixing car & have no budget left but I have to have new wheels? I can only find ridiculous sellers for 91 correct wheels and won't submit to their hostage like prices? Thoughts? Help?

Just wait and see if the right wheels come available in your price range, or you can take your wheels to wheel enhancement, they have various places around the country, and last time they charged me $100 per wheel to make them as new, but they were for a BMW.

Hard to imagine the wheels are "too chewed to fix". Its amazing what a "bit" of grinding and three passes of progressively finer sand paper followed by a rattle can of wheel paint can do.

The good thing with wheels is that the outer lip is superficial to a degree. So gouges can be sanded/grinded, filled, etc. Wurth wheel paint is the hot ticket for touch ups.

Scott, I have a set of 928 D90 wheels, just like the ones in your photo, that I intend to powdercoat and sell. Shoot me an email (below) if you would be interested. We might could work out an exchange for your wheels if the price is right; my parents live in Gainesville and will probably be around there in the next 2-3 weeks around Thanksgiving. We could meet halfway and make an exchange.
