81 928 automatic
Last few weeks have been working on the car, list of things done...
New: Alternator (delco)
Fuel lines
plugs and wires
Dist cap and rotor
Took out the fuse panel and cleaned all contacts and fuses etc,
Cleaned all the ground points on car, except under pod.
Put new door handle part on cause it wouldn't open.
Anyways after the fuse panel cleaning and alt, when the car started all guages worked fine, so everything seemed fine. I took her out for a drive yesterday, and as I was pulling out of garage the gauges stopped working and the warning light on pod and in middle console went off, and the turn signal blinker blinks. Lights work, and stereo. So kinda stumped as what could be.
I have the door panel off, and the wire cluster hanging there. If not connected to anything will that cause the guages to stop working??
Any ideas would be cool.
Thx
Gord

Fixed!!!, loosened the bolts on the fuse panel, gave it a shake a couple times, ran my finger over all the fuses (again), pressed on all relays, and wiggled grounds behind fuse panels, and now seems to work!! interior light even works again. So dunno what was different second time I did it...
Thx for the help guys
