WOW...Thanks for all the work you put into this. It's a job I have been putting off because I just wasn't sure on all the steps. You took away my worries. This job is on the plate for this summer.
Many thanks again!

addendum
Thanks very much, guys. As an addendum, there are a few things to add to 'Parts' and 'Tools'. They are obvious in the text, but should have been added to the list at the beginning.
Parts:
-Tensioner Roller Assembly Pivot Bolt
Tools:
-C Clamp (for holding timing belt to left/driver's cam gear)
-ruler, or tape measure, or tool for measuring gaps (to measure belt deflection)
-Large flathead or Phillips screwdriver (for the radiator drain bolt)

Hi Doug,
I know this is an old thread, but I have to say a huge than you to you for this monumental document. I am in the middle of this procedure, and while I am winging it pretty well, you have given me a real plan, all in one convenient place.
Thanks so much,
Dave

Hey Dave. I'm glad you're finding it useful. I actually have a revised version that was completed last November. I've been trying to get it linked to this thread but the Adminstrators' emails that I tried would not accept such a large (17MB) file. The revised version has a few spelling corrections and additional things I've learned, but it also has a parts list and a new chapter on changing the cam o-rings written by Wayne Strutt. If you haven't put the gears back on yet you might want to take a look at that chapter. If you want the revised version just let me know.

Thanks, Bob.
Brad, do you mean to make individual pdfs or is "a multipart pdf file" something else? I'd prefer to keep it as one file. I'm thinking there must be a way to compress it, like a zip file, but that's beyond my computer knowledge.

Below is the link to the revised version of the write-up. Thanks, Brad, for compressing it. I'd have added it to the original post, but it appears that is no longer possible.
