After waiting a long time for some good local wheel choices, I suddently have two:
Don't know what these are called. I like them but I worry about the width in the rear. If I knew what they were called I could probably search for fitment.

These (club sport style) would fit for sure, and I like to look, but tire selection is not great.

Prices is probably the same once I add tires to the CS style. Car is a white '79 convertable.
Thoughts? Which way would you go?

2nd auction shows Design-90 and Fuchs wheels... (L-R respectively).
You're right Karl, good tire choices for 16" wheels are getting harder to find. Pick an 18" wheel design for greater flexibility of tire choice.

Left a message about the Carerra IIIs. We will see if he calls back or answers his phone later.
I wonder why it is convertible? It is able to be converted, so I would thing convertable. Shows what I know.

delible (and indelible)
edible (and inedible)
invincible
etc.
Generally-speaking the etymology of words exiting in -ible, is that their root is in fact Latin. And, in Latin, the exit could not have been -able, as there is no -able in Latin. 'ible would have been -ibilis or the like. As in invincibilis
I'm still mad at you for buying the car I wanted!!!
I love the Carrera Light Weights (CLW's) personally! See them <------ on my RED car!
BTW, if ANY OF you find the Hammer Time car for sale PLEASE, PLEASE let me know! I figure if you are going to convert a 928 to convertible you might as well go ALL OUT and make that bad boy SUPER WIDE TOO! I'd take any of the other convertibles like that hammer time car too, but I'd prefer that red one personally! Don't mind if it needs to be rehab'ed either!
Wait, this is not the car I thought it was... I thought we were talking about that white '89 that just sold... Sorry Karl, I am not mad at you!
BTW, those wheels are AWESOME! Great choice!
