Default POD Repair

While Im in the process of upgrading the Gauges to LEDs, I needed to have the Pod repaired as well as a "while your in there". Ever since I got the car, there has been a big crack in the Pod under the ignition Key so decided to have it done while the Pod was Loose and the interior guy had full access to it.

Gold Team Interiors http://goldteaminteriors.com/ had come recomended by Tin Lizzie Affair here in Dallas who had recovered several pieces for me on my 79. Also, Kenny West had some work done by them and was really happy with their work, so I thought I'd give them a try.

The Results were fantastic!! The Pod Looks brand new!!

Can't wait to get this buttoned up this weekend with the LEDs!!

Here are some before and afters:

Herman Yes, Un Focked!!

Sean, He should be able to fix the sheet metal screw holes in your center console no problem.
Also, He said he could shoot your rear inerior quarter panels (Sterling's old ones) and match the rest of the interior panel color no problem.

I'm still amazed by this guys work.

Wonder if this is something we should look into for the 2012 OCIC in Wichita??
The PDR was a success at the last one in 2009.

If we had Gold Team Interiors and Xtreme PDR at the event, would there be interest??

Chuck,
Do you think I would I have to remove my pod for them to fix some cracks in the top center of it?

Alex,
Pretty sure they specialize in working on items while they are in the car.
He seemed surprised when I told him the Pod was removed from the car.

Barry,
It was a fraction of the cost of getting the Pod recovered, that's for sure!!

Happen to have any idea on cost for that?

Not sure Sean.
I do know that Dru will come out and give you a free estimate.
The more items you have for him to do, the better the package deal he could do.
I will bet you $10 bucks that he could shoot the airbag cover to match the rest of your dash as well.

Looks great....how does he think the top side repairs would last with sun and heat beating down on them? This would be mush cheaper that recovering a pod if it would last....and looks TONS better than some other repairs I have seen.
