Been needing to get to the alignment shop since I've recently put on new Boge shocks and Eibach springs, raised the front ride height and put on new rear tires. Went to Sears Auto Center at Paradise Valley Mall in Phoenix this afternoon and had a GREAT experience. They have the correct Hunter DSP 400 machine to align our 928's properly.
Initially they were a little reluctant to NOT raising the car (to check for suspension wear), but after I explained why they can't raise it, they promised not to and did not raise it. Tom the tech spent 3 hours working on my car! He was having issues on the right front eccentric adjustment for caster, but got it balanced out right to left.
I've just driven it home, but so far feels very good. I thought the cost was very fair at $79.99. Anyone in the Phoenix area needing an alignment, I would highly recommend Tom (and also Steve who was helping out) at Sears, 12820 N. Tatum Blvd., 602-953-7128.
BTW, Tom really liked the GT and said he was looking at 944's. I may have convinced him he'd rather have a 928 and told him to look here on Rennlist for more information, so Tom if you check in here, Thanks again for all your hard work!

I had used Porsche North Scottdale years ago - they do actually lift the car - but then they cranked it back down to ride height with a ring mounted in the floor using a chain ratchet... strange
