I never thought about the mixed fabric and leather, except on the seats. Interesting.

That is AWESOME! A leather and suede momo steering wheel and the GT3 seats Herman is selling a couple threads below would be the bee’s knees!

I'm pissed now. My old cracked dash looks even more like a turd with a glovebox!

From a functionality standpoint, I'm sure I would like alcantara as the plastic pod/dash creates a great deal of glare in the sunlight. The alcantara would reduce this significantly, in addition to looking great.

In the past, I've draped a black hand towel across the pod and dash up to the base of the windshield. It really cut down the glare.

What would be really cool is to continue the contrasting French seam into the door panels and the rear quarters, with everything out and above the French seam being Alcantara, and everything in and below it in Leather.

Of course, there should not be any intersecting French seams in that case (e.g. the seams in the outer corners of the dash should be hidden seams)

Little bump

I saw this in Fraggle's car over the weekend and was FLOORED!!!!!! Definitely added to my "short term" list of things I need to do with my 944!!!!
